At HolisticMe, you have control over your data. Your wellness data is stored locally on your device by default, and you can use the app without creating an account. This page explains your privacy choices and how to exercise your data rights.

Your Data Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all your personal data
- Rectification: Correct any inaccurate information
- Erasure: Delete your account and all associated data
- Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format
- Restriction: Limit how we process your data
- Objection: Opt out of certain data processing activities

Export Your Data
You can download a complete copy of your HolisticMe data, including:
- Your wellness profile and constitution assessment
- Symptom logs and daily check-ins
- Food scan history and analysis results
- Meal plans and saved recipes
- GingerBee chat history
To export your data, go to Profile → Data & Privacy in the app, or contact us at the email below.
Request Data Export
Data exports are typically processed within a reasonable timeframe, generally within 7 business days. You'll receive a secure download link via email.

Delete Your Data
Since HolisticMe stores your wellness data locally on your device by default, you can delete your data at any time by:
- Using the in-app data deletion option in Profile → Data & Privacy
- Uninstalling the app from your device
If you have created an account or enabled cloud features in a future version, you can request deletion of any cloud-stored data:
- Removes all your personal information from our systems
- Deletes any cloud-synced health data
- Subscription cancellation is managed through your App Store settings
Request Cloud Data Deletion
Cloud data deletion is processed within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days. Backup systems are purged within a reasonable timeframe.

Privacy Settings
Manage your privacy preferences in the app:
- Analytics: Control whether anonymized usage data is collected
- Marketing: Opt in or out of promotional communications
- Notifications: Choose which app notifications you receive
Go to Profile → Settings in the app to manage these preferences.
California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to know what personal information is collected
- Right to know if personal information is sold or disclosed
- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
We do not sell your personal information.
European Residents (GDPR)
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our lawful bases for processing include:
- Contract: To provide the services you requested
- Consent: For marketing and optional features
- Legitimate Interests: For security and service improvement
